Dan began his marching percussion career in his early high school years attending the Youth Performing Arts School (Louisville, KY).  While going through his high school years,  he began to find his desire for Visual Design, by helping write drill for his, and other high school bands in the area.   

Once in college, he began to sow his roots in to the marching activity.  In 2008 Dan began working with a Winter Guard International group, from Lexington, Ky,  Tates Creek Indoor, and found his niche for Design.   

In 2009 Dan went on tour with The Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, playing bass drum, and won DCI 2009 Individual and Ensemble, Bass Ensemble, with his first fully designed work.  And since 2009, he has performed with many other prestigious and well known organizations across the country, such as The Cavaliers (Rosemont, IL), Rhythm X (Columbus, OH), and Redline (Canton, MI). He was also apart of Yamaha Japan's JMBA clinic in Okyama with The Cavaliers percusssion (2010), and is now apart of the Bengals (NFL) Growl Drumline (2013) in their inaugural year. 

Dan studied Music Industry (Music Production/Music Performance Percussion) at Eastern Kentucky University and has been teaching for several years as a Percussion Mentor around the state, and has also spent time teaching privately.

Dan is currently the Visual Designer for Tates Creek Indoor (PIW) has been working with Tates Creek since 2012. As well as a member of the percussion staff for Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps since 2012.  His most recent work has been as a Percussion Teacher/Audio Consultant for many groups around the Kentucky area, including:
